The 2014 Summer Workshop Brazilian-style
On 24th June, the AMP VISUAL TV team was lucky enough to host a large number of guests for the fourth edition of its Summer Workshop. It made for a highly colourful event, just like the country that has recently been hosting the 2014 Football World Cup.
5,600 miles separate France from Brazil, yet with the heat, the sand and the palm trees, every detail was there to transport us to the other side of the Atlantic. In this celebratory, friendly atmosphere, we presented our developments and innovations to our clients and partners.
This event was largely devoted to the implementation of new production tools (Extenders 2 & 3) which allow for new demands in programme production to be met, each in their own way. We also discussed the new presentation solutions that are now capable of enriching images in an appropriate way and all the new features offered by the media centre. Today, this tool is at the heart of a number of applications for programme production and their derivatives on computer and smartphone screens.
It's about presenting but also, above all and most importantly to us, opening a dialogue, so that together we can build the television of the future. We thank our guests for their interest and their presence, without whom this special moment would not have been possible.
And for those who could not make the event, the warm colours of the Brazilian flag will again fly high to mark our success during the end of the World Cup, on the three stadiums where we have recorded, namely Fortaleza, Porto Alegre and São Paulo.
