AMP VISUAL TV in action for 14 July
The Bastille Day procession is always a big challenge. Technical constraints, area covered and image issues are our top priorities. This year we also covered the President of the Republic's speech live from the Élysée Palace.
Our vans Millenium Signature 10, Millenium Signature 11, and our RF van were in position on the Place de la Concorde to broadcast the traditional military procession on the occasion of the French National Day. Our equipment was installed on the few kilometres of the procession along the world's most beautiful avenue, to offer views from all the key perspectives. Regarding the area covered, a lot of the images were transmitted by our RF FACTORY department. In total, 120 people worked to install and operate our video equipment, which comprised almost 40 cameras. We captured the procession for the international signal in our Millenium Signature 1 van and for France Télévisions' private signal in our Millenium Signature 11 van.
Moreover, our Extender van was by the Élysée Palace for the eagerly awaited speech of the President of the Republic, broadcast live following the procession.
