Mission accomplished in South Africa
The Football World Cup Final marked the highpoint of our 3D adventure at this major international event. 17 matches successfully filmed in 3D. Well done to the Car 8 team. The AMP VISUAL TV Group is asserting itself as a major player in this new type of image capture.
17 matches in 3D including the opening match and the final, AMP's Car 8 accomplished its mission perfectly. It was possible to watch the World Cup in 3D around the world thanks to the thorough and committed work of our team.
This adventure began as early as the month of February with the transformation of Car 8 into a dedicated 3D facility, followed by several tests carried out in France before departing for South Africa by plane.
The AMP VISUAL TV Group is proud to have been part of this major world première.
