Cycling races in the Middle East
Since the beginning of the year, AMP Visual TV group has been taking part of the recording of three cycling races in Oman and Qatar.
AMP Visual TV teams follow on three competitions during February. The Ladies Tour of Qatar, from the 3rd to the 5th of February had been ENG recorded. This competition was directly followed by the 9th edition of the Tour of Qatar, which was fully live HD broadcasted, with two HF motorcycles, one chopperWesecam HF and Qatari OB Van with four cameras. More than 150 racing cyclists (men and women) were representating the biggest team of the world (Garmin, Cervelo, Saur-Sojasun, Sky...)
For the Oman's Sultana, the Tour of Oman (14th to 19th of February) xas the first edition and the recording had been entirely made by ENG (chopper, motorcycles, and finish OB Van) between local teams and our AMP Visual TV teams.
