RACE OF CHAMPIONS
The evenings of 20 and 21 November were pumped full of adrenaline for those taking part in the "Race of Champions". Motorsports fans flocked to the Queen Elizabeth Stadium in London to watch the furious competition between world class drivers. On the agenda: stunts, time trials, and surprising face-offs between various types of race car. The indoor event was filmed in full thanks to our on-board camera expertise.
With 30 on-board HD cameras fitted to over 10 vehicles, relayed back to our RF OB truck that was working on-site, viewers could the experience the Race of Champions from the drivers' point of view. Our TS2 unit, developed in-house, was fitted to the vehicles and offered an expanded range of production possibilities. We worked hard to provide spectacular images on behalf of Lagardere Sports, all while admiring the incredible performance on display from the pilots.
The Race of Champions was won by Sebastian Vettel, the German driver and four-time F1 world champion who, following a brilliant race, was crowned Champion of Champions for the first time in his career.
