AMP VISUAL TV has become one of the world leaders in motor sports. Here the focus is on one of our many operations, the ERC (European Rally Championship) in Corsica. For several seasons now, Eurosport Events has entrusted AMP VISUAL TV with the filming of the competition.
The AMP VISUAL TV teams are present at a large number of motor sports circuits the world over. The list speaks for itself: the WEC, WTCC, the ERC rally events, Dakar, and the next French stage of the WRC, not to mention the legendary "24 Hours of Le Mans" and, starting this year, Formula 1 for Canal+. The channel has in fact entrusted us with the technical production on all its F1 programmes over the next 3 years.
This skill is not new; it developed notably with Eurosport Events, for which we created numerous innovations over the stages of the ERC.
Broadcast live on Eurosport, this is one of RF Factory's flagship operations, with AMP VISUAL TV's RF service. During the 12 races of the European championship, we equip ten cars with built-in cameras, transmitting live via RF to the OB van. In order to receive all these images over very long distances, we rely on our unique auto-tracking system, and the precise gathering of GPS locations. The production is also enhanced by aerial images provided by a helicopter equipped with a Cineflex camera system.
