Tour of Oman
For four years now, we have provided coverage of the Tour of Oman, an event which counts towards UCI rankings. Produced by A.S.O, we provided the images for the programme using our camera bikes on location in the Arabian Gulf.
For four years now, we have provided coverage of the Tour of Oman, an event which counts towards UCI rankings. Produced by A.S.O, we provided the images for the programme using our camera bikes on location in the Arabian Gulf.
Our camera bikes covered the Tour in full in a 6 day event with as many stages. Logistics take on paramount importance for this type of event to ensure that filming goes smoothly: the equipment shipped to the location must have been thoroughly checked before departure, and on-location travel - in this case covering the 618 miles of the race - must be subject to careful planning.
The 2013 Tour of Oman brought together 144 of today's best cyclists. In the top 3, the British cyclist Christopher Froome stayed ahead of Spain's Alberto Contador and Autralia's Cadel Evans.
