Musical and artistic programming in progress. Evening hosted in partnership with Dailymotion, AMP and GlobeCast.
Japan is currently being affected by a gigantic humanitarian crisis. The needs are enormous and through our donations, we can be of great help. Certainly, it is a wealthy country, and certainly the best prepared for natural disasters.
But the scope of the cataclysm that it faces today is such that emergency aid is imperative. Northeast Japan is home to a rural, modest, and often elderly population. The victims lost everything, they are surviving in makeshift shelters and lack food, water, fuel, and access to medication. The reality goes way beyond the images we see.
A cultural attraction between France and Japan has existed for a long time, and it is still very strong. Every year, many French artists of all disciplines tour Japan with great success. 23,000 Japanese currently live in France. They are worried and frustrated at being unable to be with their friends and family. This concert is also for them.
Profits from the sale of tickets will be entirely donated to humanitarian organizations already on site. The organizers are working with the Red Cross and the association "Kokkyô naki Kodomo" (KnK = Children without borders).
