For several years our teams have been crossing the Channel several times each summer to go to this atypical festival in the middle of the English countryside. This festival is much loved by opera fans and the tickets are sometimes reserved several years in advance. Seats are often allocated to families who pass them down from generation to generation. In any case, it has a unique and very "British" atmosphere, with spectators going for their picnics in the park during the intervals.
All the festival's shows are recorded are considered a reference in the musical world.
This season began with the recording of the opera by Benjamin Britten "Billy Budd".
