AMP VISUAL TV on the French and European courts
AMP VISUAL TV is the service provider for French and European basketball. We are filming the entire French Pro A Championship for Canal+. We are also providing the main recordings for the European championships: men's Euroleague for BeinSport, some women's Euroleague matches, the Eurocup, and all of the matches played at the last women's Eurobasket.
Every week, we scan the French courts to film every Pro A match televised by Canal+ on Canal+Sport and Sport +. With two matches every week (Monday and Tuesday), we have provided images for the entire professional French championship. We deployed 8 cameras for the Tuesday matches (7 for Monday), with hand cameras set up especially on the baskets for an unparalleled view of action on the court (baskets, counters, etc.).
For BeinSport, we filmed the home Euroleague matches for two French teams: Strasbourg and Nanterre, the current Pro A leader. Each match is broadcast live and covered with around ten cameras, one at courtside dedicated to BeinSport. This configuration can be added to with extra cameras when the station promotes a match as "Match of the Week".
Furthermore, we provide play by play coverage of the men's Eurocup and the women's Euroleague in line with team rankings, including coverage of Bourges' match against Italy's Schio in women's Euroleague on 6 November, broadcast live by Equipe 21. On the night before the match we were in Levallois-Perret to cover Paris Levallois vs. ASVEL as part of the Eurocup, televised by Eurosport.
We also covered every women's Eurobasket match this June with two of our OB Vans, from the group stage to the finals that saw France lose to Spain.
