World-poker-tour-2013

The World Poker Tour (WPT) made a stop at Venice Casino (Italy), and we were there to take care of the video for the final table at this world poker tournament.

One of our Flight HD production vans was at Venice Casino for the last weekend in March as our dedicated team with more than 10 members set up in the iconic City of the Doges.

Produced by Ni-Hao Productions, the programme was broadcast live online via the official WPT website, and recorded for three special programmes in the USA. The American production team got to use our Flight HD production van, equipped with 15 cameras, 7 of which were fixed to the table to show the hands the players were dealt. The hand cameras were controlled by the croupiers, and were not broadcast live in order to avoid any chance of foul play.

For lovers, Venice is of course the city that you explore in a gondola, and our production van also took to the water on several barges with our team taking great care to protect the world's oldest casino.

The World Poker Tour is a poker tournament that takes place in a range of international locations.

One of our 6 production vans used is a "flight-case" in name only. Like those that covered the Formula 1 Grand Prix for Canal+, or "premium" shows for Paris Première or France 2, it is a real production van, of the type familiar to those who know our production coaches or fixed production facilities. The mixer comes with several effect bars, the grid is the right size for managing multiple starts, and it has impressive monitoring capabilities (see photos).
